Whiskey is mentioned for the first time in Ireland and Scotland around the 1400s and means "water of life" in Gaelic just as the word Aquavit in Nordic languages or the French “eau de vie”. The major producers of Whiskey is Scotland and Ireland but there are also large American and Canadian brands, recently even Sweden and Japan also have begun to produce Whiskey. In perfume, perfumers will use Whiskey extract and the scent is Whiskey like, but whit a hit of fuels. A very masculine fragrance. |
