FAQ: Follicopeptide®
Gents Focus
What is Follicopeptide®?
Answer: Follicopeptide® is a Swedish-developed bioactive peptide that stimulates the hair follicle’s natural growth cycle. It works by activating the follicle cells and promoting the formation of stronger hair strands – without hormones or surgery.
How is Follicopeptide® different from other hair loss treatments?
Answer: Unlike many traditional treatments, Follicopeptide® acts directly at the cellular level inside the follicle. It mimics the body’s own signals and strengthens the hair structure from within, instead of only affecting the scalp surface.
Are the results clinically proven?
Answer: Yes. Clinical studies show that Follicopeptide® can increase the number of hair strands by up to 14% and hair thickness by around 13% after three months of regular use. The effect is based on measurable changes in follicle activity.
Is the product suitable for both men and women?
Answer: Yes. Power Hair Activating Formula with Follicopeptide® is designed for both men and women experiencing hair loss, thinning hair, or those who wish to strengthen hair growth.
How do I use FAQ Power Hair Activating Formula?
Answer: In the evening before bedtime, apply 1–2 pumps per 10x10 cm area on the scalp. Apply with your fingertip or place the container directly against the scalp.
Massage in. Leave on for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
How long does one bottle of FAQ Power Hair Activating Formula last?
Answer: One bottle (15 ml) lasts approximately 1–2 months depending on application area.
Can Follicopeptide® be used in the beard?
Answer: Yes, absolutely!
Are there any side effects?
Answer: No serious side effects have been documented. The formula is skin-friendly and free from hormones. Mild redness may occur in the beginning, which is normal and subsides as the skin adapts.
How long does it take to see results?
Answer: Most users see improvements in density and strength after 8–12 weeks, but individual results may vary. For full effect, daily use for at least three months is recommended.
Has Follicopeptide® been tested on animals?
Answer: Follicopeptide® was originally developed as a prescription-grade drug and was required by law to undergo animal testing. The answer is therefore yes. No animals were harmed, as the substance has no damaging effects – the animals simply became very hairy.
Answer: Try applying earlier in the evening and use a smaller amount. More product does not improve the effect.
Answer: As with all skincare, the benefits remain only as long as you use the product consistently.
Answer: No. The product is clinically proven to work for 70% of users. The remaining 30% typically see no result because their hair growth phases are irregular or because usage has not been fully consistent.
Answer: If you are experiencing hair loss without medical cause, you can support growth by maintaining a balanced diet with iron, zinc, B12 and biotin, all essential for healthy hair.
Answer: Iron deficiency is a common cause of hair loss, especially in women. Iron is found in liver, red meat, pork, poultry and green vegetables like spinach and broccoli. Vitamin C-rich fruits and berries help increase iron absorption.
Answer: The most common genetic condition is female pattern hair loss, or androgenic alopecia. Women may notice thinning along the top of the head, usually beginning in their 40s or 50s, due to inherited factors.
Answer: Of all B vitamins, biotin (B7) is most closely linked to hair growth. It helps convert nutrients into energy and is essential for keratin production. Deficiency is rare but can cause thin, fragile hair.
Answer: Alopecia areata. The immune system attacks hair follicles and causes patchy hair loss. Treatments may help regrowth, but severe cases may respond poorly.
Answer: Several medications may cause hair loss, including:
• Acne medicine containing vitamin A (retinoids)
• Antibiotics and antifungals
• Antidepressants
• Birth control pills
• Blood thinners
• Cholesterol-lowering drugs
• Immunosuppressants
