Black Saffron Absolu is an oriental fragrance inspired by India’s world of spices and by the golden hue of saffron worn by monks as a symbol of simplicity and ascetic living. The scent opens with juniper berries and bright pomelo, infused with a pronounced saffron note that lends the top an aromatic, spicy character. The heart blends rich black violet and Cristal Rose with a leathery accord resting on a warm, woody base. Blonde woods, vetiver, and a touch of raspberry round out the composition, creating a unisex fragrance that evolves from citrus and spice to floral leather and soft woods in a highly concentrated Absolu de Parfum form.
