As airlines require that containers of liquids do not contain more than 100ml, it can be good to buy in advance, for example, shampoos, creams and soaps in travel size as these usually exceed the limit.

HOW MUCH LIQUID CAN I TAKE WITH ME ON THE PLANE?

In hand luggage, up to 100ml per container is allowed, and even toothpastes and "sluggish" substances are considered liquid in this case. Of course, you can bring more than one container. Also, keep in mind that it is not enough that a container labeled 150ml is half full and contains only half at the security checkpoint, it will still be flagged as unacceptable.
