Elemi

Elemi is a tree that grows in the Philippines. The resin from the Elemi tree is pale yellow with honey-like consistency. Elemi resin is mainly used in lacquers and in some inks. It is also used as herbal medicine to treat bronchitis, catarrh, extreme coughing, scars, stress, and wounds.

In perfumes elemi provides a sharp scent of lemon and pine.
