Lavandin

Lavandin is a hybrid between common lavender and spike lavender, developed as a substitute for the more expensive lavender oil since it yields larger amounts of essential oil during distillation. Lavandin also contains camphor, which gives it a soapier and slightly more bitter character compared to regular lavender.
