Marigold

Marigolds or Tagetes are a yellow, yellow-orange flower from South Africa that we usually use as an ornamental plant in the gardens or flower boxes. It is not uncommon for Marigolds to be planted with tomatoes, tobacco, or chili when it is said that it keeps the deer, hares and other wildlife away.

Essential oils are obtained by distillation and the scent is green, herbaceous, and with clear hints of caramel.
