Pineapple
Pineapples are like other fruits which mean that it’s not possible to extract fragrance notes from it. Instead, perfumers use itself out of a so-called aldehyde that is a hydrocarbon. But the fruit pineapple originates from Brazil and Bolivia; where it thrives very well when Pineapple wants both rain and heat. Do you eat lots of fresh pineapple you may experience a tingling sensation in the palate and the tongue; this depends on the subject bromelain irritating the mucous membranes.
In perfume the Aldehyde gives the scent of just pineapple.
