It's too hard in the bristles, doesn't work at all!
Proraso Shaving Brush with bristles of boar – boar bristles are stiffer and provides more friction, which can be compared with an exfoliation, but do not have the same absorbency as a brush of badger.
This brush can be an alternative for those who are allergic to badger. Qualitatively, however, can not be compared with a brush made of badger.

Feels like a brush with decent quality and a reasonable price.
Really luxurious and stylish brush.
Feels professional
A very good brush. The best boar bristle brush I have tried. Stiff bristles that are perfect for lathering soap, but at the same time soft and comfortable on the skin. Works great for lathering cream too, but it's probably a bit better with soap. The handle is large and wide, providing an excellent grip when lathering and applying. Rating: 6/6!
Really nice
Surprisingly good brush! I like that it is sturdy and a bit rough compared to my T&H. It definitely has its place among the shaving gear.
My first shaving brush, not much to add except that it simply works well.
I've used the brush for 8 years. Here's how I can summarize it: As others have mentioned, it smells bad initially. I didn’t rinse the brush thoroughly, leaving soap residue to help eliminate odor. Instead, I cleaned it thoroughly just before shaving. Like others have noted, bristles fall out at first. However, I found this is a temporary issue. It doesn’t shed at all for me now. What others haven’t mentioned, and what I’ve noticed as a long-term user, is that after eight years, the plastic in the handle cracks because the plastic dries and becomes more brittle. But eight years for a brush at that price I think is actually okay. However, as a beginner you should note that the brush has long bristles. Most other brushes have shorter bristles. This results in a softer, more paintbrush-like application of lather. At the same time, the brush holds a lot of lather, which can be good but also means more shaving soap is used. With longer bristles, you also lose the peeling effect that other brushes can have. If you have sensitive skin, you probably want a softer brush, but since I have coarse bristles and often get ingrown hairs, I want a peeling effect. Overall, I’ve been happy with the brush and recommend it. But the question is, what are you looking for?
