Rebecca's skincare guide for summer

Gent's skincare expert tips

Rebecca

Don't forget to take care of your skin during spring and early summer! Hopefully you've already got some good sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays, here are some more important tips not to be forgotten!

EXFOLIATION

Use a facial scrub once a week to remove dead skin cells. This is always important, and even more so when the weather gets warmer and your skin is exposed to more sun and sweat. An example of a really effective facial scrub is Recipe for Men's exfoliating face scrub, which also shrinks the diameter of pores to prevent bacterial attacks!

CLEANING

Don't forget to cleanse your face morning and night, in the morning because you have (even if it doesn't feel like it) sweated at night. If this is left on your face during the day, your skin can't breathe and bacteria are created. In the evening, it's important to cleanse your skin because of everything you've encountered in the air during the day, which you can't see but which I can promise you your skin feels. One of my favourite cleansers is Lernberger Stafsing's Gel Cleanser, which is a deep-cleansing and lathering gel that effectively removes dirt and impurities without disturbing the skin's own pH balance. Your skin gets a fresh and soft surface that feels moisturised and smells good.

RECOVERY

If you moisturise your skin after cleansing, your skin will thank you! When you cleanse your skin, all the oil disappears, which is good. But your skin then needs a new kind of moisture to feel good. For those whose skin tends to get oily or shiny in the summer, a moisturiser with less oil is preferable. Raw Naturals The Grease Free Face Cream is light, non-greasy and suitable for all skin types!
