A scrubbing cream, or a peeling cream as they are also called, is a cream that contains very small abrasive grains. This is used to smooth away the external layer of dead skin cells that can give the skin a grey and unhealthy appearance.
The cream is used on a moist face if no other instructions are given on the package. Massage the cream into the face with light fingertips in circular motions. Be especially careful with the area in the middle of the forehead, chin and around and on the nose where blackheads can easily appear.
When you use a peeling cream, it is important not to rub too hard, since the abrasive grains can make the skin red and sensitive. Never use the peeling cream on the sensitive skin around the eyes. Here the skin is so sensitive that the cream does more damage than good. Do not use the scrub cream either more than once or a few times per week. This is sufficient to keep the dead skin cells away.
