Vetiver Nocturne is Dmitry Bortnikoff's tribute to the green, earthy ingredient vetiver. Here, the smoky, herbal character of vetiver root is refreshed with the help of lively neroli (orange blossom) in the opening, while the heart is dominated by vetiver from Indonesia and India, champaca (which creates a sensation of rice and green tea), jasmine sambac, and sandalwood oil. In the base, we find oakmoss, white and gray ambergris, as well as woody notes from Bengali sandalwood, oud, and oakmoss, which emerge deeper in the drydown. A completely unique interpretation of vetiver with absolutely pure ingredients, typical of Bortnikoff's DNA.
