Francesca Bianchi Tyger Tyger EdP
Tyger Tyger by Italian perfumer Francesca Bianchi is inspired by William Blake's poem The Tyger, an attempt to seek the collision and perfect balance between two opposing elements - the alluring and irresistibly attractive versus the terrifying and dark of a collapsed and destructive world. A contradiction between perfection and terror. The ‘terrible symmetry’, as Blake put it, qualities he attributed to the tiger.
The perfume is built around a chord of narcotic white flowers with sweet-fruity notes, which also contains a true absolute of the tuberose flower - the prima donna of a dramatic piece, where, in the company of sensual honey and fruity peach, she personifies a refined civilisation in a bygone world. All while the base notes with their burnt and leathery woods refer to a post-apocalyptic scenario of destruction, mystery and darkness.
Fragrance notes: White flowers, Heliotrope, Honey, Peach, Leather, Oakmoss, Oud, Sandalwood, Patchouli
