In this dark, aromatic fragrance created by Sonia Constant in 2011, fire is the symbolic source of inspiration. We encounter spicy elegance combined with liquorice notes and subtle hints of faux leather, an interesting option for those who appreciate fragrances in the vein of Nasomatto's Black Afgano and Byredo's Mumbai Noise, but here in a refined French style.
Wooden top notes of oud and cypriol/nagarmotha combined with saffron open the fragrance, which then joins the heart's guaiac wood, cedar, vetiver and the balsamic resin amyris. The base is rounded off with vanilla, sandalwood and musk together with patchouli and ambergris (ambergris).
