Merkur Progress Long Handle is a double edge razor with the same functions as Merkur Progress but with an extra long handle (3,35 inches compared to the regular Progress 2,75 inches) to suit the ones who have large hands or just want a razor with a longer handle.
Just as Merkur Progress this razor is provided with an adjustable system that allows you to adjust the angle of the razor head in five different levels. Start at 1 and once you have learned the technique (at least 1-2 months), you can proceed to the next step and so on. The idea is not that you get to the highest step, but rather find the setting that gives you a really close yet comfortable shave.
Manufactured in steel with a hand-tooled high-polish chrome finish. Powerful and trustworthy design made for lifetime use.
A double edge razorblade lasts up to three times as long as a regular razor cartridge with 3-blades.

My first purchase of a safety razor! I am very satisfied and love the long handle and the overall impression of the razor. The only thing I've thought about afterward is that, since I use it in the shower, I would have appreciated a patterned handle that gives a better grip when the hand and handle aren't dry. Still gives 5 out of 5 because there’s a solution; I just use a small hand towel to dry it off and the problem is solved!
