Liwa is an oriental floral scent from the perfume house Widian's Velvet Collection. Named after the oasis of the same name, surrounded in the desert by date palms and Bedouin villages, it has a typical exotic unisex touch with a focus on saffron, sweetness and white flowers.
In the top notes there is a sweet, rich aroma of jasmine and artemisia, spicy saffron and fresh bergamot before it in the heart notes turns into amber, woody notes and geranium. The base notes are cedar, aromatic patchouli, sandalwood and incense based on oud. A well-balanced creation by perfumer José Fernandez

Quite similar to Oud for Greatness but a bit sweeter and lighter. Pleasant scent but slightly feminine for my taste.

Liwa has been compared to other fragrances, but I own it and the others and can simply say that it stands beautifully on its own.
