Darker in tones than I thought it would be. Will be great for autumn and winter, but maybe not for everyday use.

Absinth from the Italian niche house Nasomatto is a fragrance that evokes the Parisian bohemian circles of poets and artists, avant-garde and challenging as a tribute to their favorite drink, absinthe.
The perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, who calls himself “The Nose”, has not created a traditional absinthe composition that directly resembles the drink of the same name, which typically contains high levels of wormwood and prominent notes of anise. Instead, we encounter an interpretation that is green, herbal and aromatically woody. There is indeed a hint of alcoholic wormwood in the opening, but otherwise it is green accords, vetiver and woody notes that shape the overall impression.
So despite its associations, it still feels approachable for those who appreciate herbal and woody fragrances – yet naturally with Alessandro’s own uniquely distinctive twist.

Cool scent, smells kind of like moss and candy. However, the scent fades fairly quickly, I'd say it lasts around 6 hours only.

What can I say... you either like it or you don't... I have a bit of a fondness for Nasomatto. I was a bit unlucky as this had leaked a little in the packaging. But Gents replaced it generously!

I really like this. Green, tangy, both sweet and sour. Very special scent. Intensely green and nicely tangy at first... Then soft and curiously inviting. If you like green and unique scents, try this. I will buy this again (as well as Hindu Grass).
