Jaguar E-Type Series 1 – Xerjoff 17/17 Homme
The Jaguar E-Type is many people’s ultimate dream car – and we understand why. With its straight-six engine producing 265 hp and 390 Nm, it delivers a roar that makes a real jaguar sound like a kitten. If, like the car, you are not the easiest person to handle and love taking charge in the driver’s seat, this is the car for you.
The fragrance Xerjoff 17/17 Homme was perfumer Sergio Momo’s first creation. Here, you sense the smell of spilled oil in the garage after tuning the engine, a leather jacket against leather seats, and the large three-spoke wooden steering wheel. The inspiration behind the Homme collection is leather – the feeling of a spring day when you finally take your beloved vintage sports car out of the garage and cruise the roads in full elegance.
Citroën CX2000 – Stephan Humbert Lucas Crying of Evil
For the seasoned man with raw strength, life experience in his luggage, and a resilient personality – comfortable in his own skin. The car won Car of the Year in 1975 and has been called “The Concorde of the Roads.” Citroën later sold its patented hydropneumatic suspension system to Rolls Royce and Bentley, both of whom sought the superior comfort it provided.
Crying of Evil by Stephan Humbert Lucas may be inspired by Charles Baudelaire’s poetry collection "Les Fleurs du Mal," yet it is perhaps the most photorealistic interpretation (intentional or not) of exhaust fumes, synthetic luxury leather seats, and diesel vapors. A fragrance for the fearless who dare to wear something different – and surprisingly appealing despite its extreme niche character.
The scent opens confidently with top notes of red berries, tuberose, violet, and spices. The heart deepens into sandalwood, leather, and passionate rose. The base ties everything together with powerful patchouli, amber/resin, incense, and musk.
With this one, you won’t want to be stuck in the garage! We can only say: formi formi formidable!
DeLorean DMC-12 – Nasomatto Duro
“Duro” means “hard” in Italian – an appropriate name for this classic immortalized in the film Back to the Future. With brushed stainless-steel panels and a weight of 1,245 kg, it accelerated from 0–100 km/h in a modest 9.5 seconds.
Equipped with a PRV V6 engine – also found in Volvo 260 and 760 models – it represents a safe choice for the stable and grounded man. Not unlike Nasomatto’s Duro, where associations of saffron, spices, and woods merge into classic yet robust Italian elegance. As perfumer Alessandro “The Nose” Gualtieri describes it: “Duro is the scent of radiant masculinity. The force lasts and flawless. Manly sensuality put in bottle.” The DMC-12 evokes precisely the same feeling – a time machine for the most masculine of men.
Tesla – Nasomatto Silver Musk
Elon Musk is the man who made Tesla the electric car with a capital E – just as Steve Jobs transformed the iPod into the MP3 player. Tesla is for you who are constantly on the run. With a 17” screen, you can monitor everything from the stock market to the energy stored from your solar panels at home.
Alessandro Gualtieri describes his fragrance Silver Musk (no, it’s not named after Elon) as “bright as a flash, magnetic, promising and unforgettable” – sensual yet mysterious and understated at the same time. All of these attributes perfectly capture the feeling after test-driving your first Tesla. It is not a heavy scent that shouts, but one that subtly appears without you quite knowing where it comes from (and perhaps featuring the most refined white musk on the market) – just like a silent Tesla.
