DO NOT SHAKE

First of all, you need to remember to never shake your perfume. We understand the natural instinct to do so, but try to handle it gently. Shaking the perfume can cause air bubbles which can affect the integrity of the perfume.

AVOID RUBBING

If you tend to apply perfume to your wrists and then rub them together, we want to tell you that this is something to be avoided. The scent will not last as long if you rub after spraying because the scent composition is destroyed by the friction.

APPLY ON THE PULSE POINTS

Apply the perfume where the skin is warmest. Such points are, for example, behind the ear, on the neck and on the wrist. The radiation of body heat from the pulse points intensifies the scent, making it easier for your perfume to fulfil its full potential.

You should not apply perfume to your clothes. Using a highly concentrated perfume, such as a Parfum, can cause stains. In addition, the perfume may smell very different.

Your own fragrance ingredients and your skin's pH level play a crucial role in how long a scent lasts. Real raw materials and pure oils that are often found in so-called niche perfumes also actively work with your skin in a different way than those with synthetic ingredients, meaning that some people pick up certain notes better than others, which is what makes each such perfume smell unique to each person.

Tip. If your skin is extremely dry, you can use a body lotion to "moisturise" your skin. This is of course something even those who do not have dry skin can do to make the perfume smell longer.

HOW MUCH?

How much perfume you should use depends mainly on two things:
1. Whether you use an Edt, EdC or Parfum (that is, the concentration of fragrance essences) Read more here.
2. taste and liking

We recommend that you try it out and gradually increase the amount.
