Generally, when the word “pre- shave” comes up, the first thing people ask is ”what is that?”

As indicated by the name, pre- shave products should be used before the shave.
There are three different pre- shave products; oil, lotion and gel. The common denominator is that they all soften skin and beard, as well as create a protective barrier between razor and skin. As consequence friction is noticeable reduced, leaving the skin less irritated.

Apply your pre- shave underneath your shaving soap, cream or foam and shave as usual.
A pre- shave may very well be the only thing standing between you and the perfect shave.
