MEET THE SHAVING AND FRAGRANCE EXPERT

A long-standing interest in wine spilled over into another, which became the start of a new passion. Just as wine speaks to the palate, the scents of perfume speak to the nose, so it is no wonder that the world of perfume became his home. In addition to wine and fragrance, he devotes himself to writing and oil painting, which further emphasises his talent in the craft of the art of the finer senses. Let us introduce our shaving and fragrance expert, Glenn Lauritz Andersson.

My name is Glenn Lauritz Andersson, I am 57 years old and a native of Helsingborg with a passion for history, culture and crafts. I paint in oils and cheat as a writer and lecturer, but otherwise have a long history in the wine industry, both in Denmark and in England.

I have been working at Gents for ten years as a salesperson and customer advisor in store, where my areas of expertise are perfumes, shaving and beards. My experience in wine made it easy for me to transfer my old knowledge to perfumes, which has become a bit of a speciality of mine - both are closely related. I have also built up an interest in old classic shaving products and am particularly passionate about traditional safety razors.

For me, the most stimulating part of the job is the counselling. It's extremely important that the customer gets the right stuff to suit their needs, that they get the right information. Another nice bonus of the job is that the more time goes by, the more you realise that you always have something new to learn, that you're never fully learned.
