"Black" is the collection that personifies and summarizes the entire essence and character of the Arabian perfume house Widian. The journey begins in the desert and the journey goes west through following the sun. Each fragrance symbolizes meetings, moments and memories during the journey.
Widian Black III is a fragrance where memories and impressions meet the elements of nature. It is described by creators Ali Aljaberi and Jean-Claude Astier as having taken a break on the journey to settle into a worn leather armchair surrounded by travel memories while soaking up the fresh atmosphere of the cool Mediterranean under the warm rays of the setting sun. And the scent also starts fresh and clean with its top notes of bergamot and mint. The heart notes consist of a masculine, dark combo of leather and dry wooden notes. When the sun finally sets in the base, we are greeted by the warmth and dark fullness of exotic vanilla, moss, sandalwood and patchouli with a gentle ode in the backlog.

My first Widian but definitely not my last! Came across Widian through Gents' fantastic e-perfume trials and have been very curious to buy one from their Black Collection. This was recommended by Denis as a lovely summer scent for 2022! A fantastic and lovely warm scent that lasts very long and has a wonderful development throughout the day.
