The citrus opening is magnificent in its vitality. Brilliant notes of bergamot, orange and grapefruit are increasingly enduring and strong with vibrant tones of basil and cardamom. The extremely soft and engaging tones of sandalwood are combined with smoky tones of guaiac, giving a sense of consistency and depth to the heart of the composition. The velvet base gives new undertones, and the meeting between musk and vetiver concludes this masterpiece which is inspired by the last act, "Nessun Dorma" in Giacomo Puccini's world famous opera Turandot.
