Incense

Incense has been used for thousands of years - not least in religious contexts. In recent years, it has become commonplace to use incense to scent our homes.

Frankincense has a long and rich history that spans cultures and continents. From the temples of ancient civilizations to contemporary meditation centers, incense has been used to purify, meditate and create a pleasant atmosphere.
The basis of incense is often wood, resin or herbs, which when burned, emit a smoke filled with aromatic scents.

Incense comes in different varieties such as incense sticks, incense cones and loose incense powder. Incense sticks are perhaps the best known, where the fragrance is embedded on a thin stick, while incense cones are shaped like small cones. Loose incense powder can be burned on charcoal or with special burners to release its scent.
