Eight and Bob has a long and exciting story. It was created by the french aristocrat, Albert Fouquet and was introduced to american celebrities, amongst them well -known movie stars and directors, by John F Kennedy in the late 1930’s.
The fragrance is really something else. The fragrance notes comes from amongst others lemon, ginger, bergamot, exotic woods and vanilla, but the main ingredient is an aromatic herb that Fouquet discovered under a trip to the Andes in Chile and that he named Andrea. Andrea is a wild plant that only grows in a limited area. It can only be harvested from December to January, then follows a very exacte selecting process where only about 7 percent oft he harvest will be chosen. This process ends in March/April and only then there is known how many Eight and Bob that will be botteled.
In other words; A very exclusive scent indeed!
