Histories de Parfums 1740 is a charismatic and seductive fragrance designed for the modern male adventurer, where leather and the wormwood plant davana are key components. Davana (traditionally used as an aphrodisiac) is already present in the top notes along with bergamot, while the heart notes are a spicy mix of patchouli, coriander and cardamom. In the base notes there are woody elements from cedar and birch together with labdanum, vanilla, elemi, heath flowers and - yes - leather.
