Silphium was a plant renowned in antiquity as a spice, medicine, and perfume ingredient. It grew only in a limited area of North Africa and was eventually harvested to extinction, its scent lost to history.

Stora Skuggan's interpretation recreates this legendary plant using aroma chemicals from its surviving relatives, based on historical descriptions. The scent unfolds against a backdrop of ancient incense, wood, and leather.
