Winner:
floraïku gong edp

Gong by Floraïku won the women’s fragrance category at the Daisy Beauty Awards 2026, and it’s no mystery why. This is a truly sophisticated and exciting creation that blends warm citrus and white tea with creamy gourmand notes – perfectly balanced as expected from an award-winning scent. Easy to wear and love, yet completely unique and irresistible.

Floraïku is a French brand whose DNA is rooted in Japanese culture, and here they aim to capture the ritual of the Japanese tea ceremony and its harmonious simplicity. This could easily have become just another ordinary citrus composition, but the bold addition of the sweet, spiced pancake dorayaki, pepper and woody notes makes it something truly special. What can we say? Another winner!

#2
ROSE ARABIA ALMOND EDP 100 ML

This creation from Abu Dhabi-based Widian’s sister brand Rose Arabia offers one of the most exciting and unexpected note combinations we’ve encountered in a long time. Several of Rose Arabia’s fragrances are based on floral accords, but interpreted in different ways.

In Almond, tuberose is combined with – yes – almond. As with the brand’s other fragrances, freshness is the primary impression (no heavy, overpowering rose scents), but what makes this stand out is the contrast between the floral notes and the almond’s dry, almost woody sweetness. This unique clash creates both romance and bold tension. It’s best suited for spring and summer, but the warmth of almond allows it to work year-round.

#3
PENHALIGON'S EMPRESSA EDP 100 ML

The English classic Empressa by Penhaligon’s would be almost criminal to overlook. Its popularity across age groups remains strong despite the many new releases since its launch in 2014.

This is hardly surprising given its outstanding performance and its refined balance between fruity sweetness from blood orange, blackberry and blackcurrant, and floral accords of rose and geranium. Add to that spicy nuances and a rich base of chocolate, sandalwood and vanilla. It suits anyone looking for a fragrance with both character and fullness.

#4
BYREDO MOJAVE GHOST EDP

Swedish brand Byredo is known for its fresh unisex creations, and Mojave Ghost – inspired by the “ghost flower” of the Mojave Desert – has become a true favorite among female consumers. It hits the perfect balance with notes of ripe pear, violet leaves, magnolia, amber and musk. Floral, fresh yet characterful – equally suitable for work or more festive occasions.

#5
QOT full moon

Full Moon by QOT is one of the most intriguing interpretations of the mystical nature of white florals. It avoids becoming overly romantic or dated, instead offering something youthful and alluring, with a subtle pull toward the unknown. Perfumer Linda Landenberg lets luminous florals and milky notes interact with the dark elegance of belladonna, where innocence meets the hypnotic and unexpected.

The premise is naturally that you should appreciate white florals to enjoy it – but everyone should give it a chance. At this level, it becomes clear why floral fragrances remain a signature of some of the world’s finest perfumes.
